Step one: Scan Drawing at 300 dpi

Step 2: Change levels about, this gets rid of any small marks, rubbings, tones and other general stuff you don't want in your image.

Step 3: Use background eraser tool, this allows me to put colour on to layers bellow my drawing without making mistakes.

Step 4: I added a green layer for the leaves and erased the parts i needed too, i did the same with a brown for the branches and houses.

Step 5: I took the brown layer and copy pasted it in to a new document, then desaturated it so it was black and white.

Step 6: Im going to convert this into a bit map for the reason that i can have more than one shade of brown in my poster when i screen print but using the same tone brown, this works a bit like cross hatching.
Step 7: Bitmap using halftone screen using a frequency of 80 and at an angle of 45 degrees
Here you can see the effects of bitmaping
Step 8: I copy and paste the bitmap back into my image.
Step 9: ive now made the bitmap layer brown to see how it will look but will need to change it back to black when i screen print it.
I add a background for the final image but when i screen print the final one i want to play around with different coloured backgrounds.
